Hello fellow NY brides!  I am recently engaged and are planning a Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 outdoor wedding in the Lower Hudson Valley area.  We are just starting to look at venues and have picked a few different weekends and hopefully things will fall into place and we can have a place and date picked by the end of this summer.

Well, if I knew where I was getting married, I wouldn't be so "challenged". My fiance and I are trying to plan a wedding in the nyc area for spring 2011.  We wanted to have a destination wedding in the carribean, but his mother is sick and can't travel.  So we're limited to nyc, westchester, or LI.  So far we've had a terrible time finding anything in our budget.  We were trying to do the whole thing for $25,000 with about 100 guests, but right now that seems impossible.  Suggestions anyone? We were trying to find a venue that would do ceremony & reception to keep things simple and save $....
