Hi gals. I found an amazing venue where they have for use most of the decor for a reception. However, I am being given centerpieces, that require filler. My colors are Red, Black and White... (heh, chosen because of the linen options I was given!) any idea on what I can fill a 8 inch cylinder vase. I've looked at those colored stones, but to fill 25 vases it would be too expensive. Anyone have any cheap ideas/alternatives/donations?

Thanks in advance. </3

Are you putting candles or flowers in them?

If flowers:

rocks/stones (they sell these at dollartree) and you only need a shallow layer at the bottom..

If candles:

Flower petals (silk maybe) you can get 1000/$5 on amazon.com- then put a pillar candle on top

Water and use floating candles (maybe some small stones on the bottom?)

Hth!

You can also fill them up with candy! There are a lot of websites and blogs on ideas about this. A few I've found useful for ideas are: Pinterest.com and Swizzle Parties. Just search on pinterest for hundreds of ideas.

You can also buy the candy for pretty cheap at a local store or at a Bulk candy store.

Just an idea. I hope it helped!
