I am wondering if it's ok to have a reception one week before we leave to out destination wedding.  Our small intimate ceremony will be in Maui.  We were going there for honeymoon and going to do courthouse marriage bc we are on a budget but we figured we could do ceremony there for very inexpensive.  We would like reception before wo we can use some of the money from reception towards honeymoon.  Do you think people would be offended.  Also when we return in late August it will be a holiday weekend and school starting back up. It's also because of the time and everyone will be busy.  I need help on what to do.
